Rx Drug Drop Box Program
Cuyahoga County is pleased to announce this collaborative effort among the County Executive’s Administration, Common Pleas Drug Court and the Sheriff’s Office referred to as the Rx Drug Drop Box Program. This initiative is a local effort to build on the success of Operation Medicine Cabinet, a federal program that deploys similar collection containers and picks up bi‐annually and the Ohio Prescription Drug Box Program.
In 2012 in Ohio, more than 1,500 people died from accidental prescription drug overdoses. Help protect your home and loved ones from potentially dangerous and addictive medications.
The RX Drug Drop Box Program is an opportunity for residents to deposit unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs at drop boxes located at participating local law enforcement agencies across the County.
