ATTENTION!! Beginning Monday, July 8, 2013 until further notice the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department Foreclosure Auctions will be held on the 1st floor in Room 100 at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Justice Center located at 9300 Quincy Avenue, Cleveland Ohio 44106.

  • As of November 5, 2012, the time of the Foreclosure Sales will be moved to 9:00am
  1. Effective April 1, 2013
  2. A formerly incarcerated person at the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center, or other correctional facility, is prohibited from visiting unless the period from release is over one month.  (Parents and/or Grandparents, of the inmate, may visit and are exempt from this rule. Spouses are also exempt but they must provide a copy of the marriage license.)
  3. Any exceptions must be approved by the Warden.
  4. Minors under the age of 5 years old will not be permitted within the Corrections Center.
  5. Inmates will receive a maximum of 30 minutes of visitation per week.

Cuyahoga County and Cleveland NAACP to hold Free Self-Defense Seminars

The Sheriff's Department Strategies Against Violent Encounters (S.A.V.E.) self defense seminars assisted over 100 residents with physical and mental tools and techniques to avoid with or respond to a violent encounter.  New SAVE self defense sessions will be conducted throughout the Cuyahoga County in January and February; check back after the New Year for dates and locations.
