Fiscal Division

The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department has a $135 million dollar budget. The mission of the Fiscal Department is to assure that tax dollars are spent prudently and judiciously while assuring that identified needs are fulfilled as expediently and cost effectively as possible. The Fiscal Department is led by Donna Kaleal.

The main responsibilities of the CCSD’s Fiscal Department include, but are not limited to, the following: budget preparation, oversight, forecasts and management of current CCSD and Internal Service budgets; project management on all new sheriff initiatives and grants; to research grants and secure potential funding sources for the CCSD; conduct analysis of on-going projects and identify any budgetary concerns based on conclusions reached and determinations made; and to streamline processes to ensure efficiency while maintaining effectiveness.
