Apprehension Unit (ISP)

The Apprehension Unit is the enforcement arm for Cuyahoga County Probation's Intense Supervised Probation Program. An individual who has failed to comply with the terms of his probation is referred to this unit. The unit has the responsibility of locating and apprehending the individual on behalf of the Probation Department.

Individuals who violate the conditions of Intense Supervised Probation are generally categorized as a flight risk, as frequently, they are terminated from probation and required to serve prison sentences.
